General description of the collection: The Roy E. Lindquist photograph collection contains a large photo album of Lindquist's service with the airborne troops from Camp Blanding, Florida, to Frankfurt, Germany, 1941-1945. Other photo albums contain his assignments to Greece, Korea, and Japan. Several photo albums cover his activities while in Iran. There are several good portrait photos of the Shah of Iran circa 1960.

Roy Ernest Lindquist (b. Feb. 18, 1907, Newton, Mass.-d. Nov. 1986, Fla.), U.S. Army officer, graduated from West Point in 1930.
